Your Home Can Be Your Sanctuary

If you're ready to ditch the clutter and overwhelm, you've come to the right place!

Home is for rest and renewal.....the one place where we should feel free.

                                                  About Gail Harrington

Welcome! One of my favorite things in life is helping people free themselves from the weight of clutter and disorganization at home. Over the last 30 years, I've helped busy families manage the daily influx of miscellaneous items and the realities of life with growing kids and I've worked gently with transitioning Seniors as they've navigated complex decisions around downsizing and the handling of long-cherished possessions. Always, my intention is to create a "no-pressure" bubble, a safe space for processing at your own pace. I'm honored to be welcomed into your home and to bear witness to your memories and stories. Some stories require us to pause, grab the Kleenex and simply acknowledge the passage of time. Whatever stage of life you're in, the work we do together isn't solely about Organizing, it's also an opportunity to honor the arc of a full and beautiful life, messy parts and all.

Rather than try to adhere to a rigid set of Organizing "rules", my aim is to help you find thoughtful solutions that work for your particular needs. Some spaces can be completed in one or two visits, while others require multiple passes as we sort through your problem areas or "pain points." Our homes change and evolve as our lives do and no two homes are alike. I honestly love the challenge of making it work for whatever stage you're in and later if necessary, making it work again!

Clients, friends and family have said they feel much lighter and calmer after this process.

Let's create sustainable solutions together, so you can spend less time hitting a mental wall around how to get started and more time Feeling Free to focus on what matters most to you.

The four C's of your Freedom - Clear the Clutter - Categorize - Contain - Curate.

What you can expect:

We'll approach your project using either the"Body Doubling" method where I work alongside you, offering support and guidance for each step of your decision-making process....

or, the"Fairy Godmother" method. After the declutter phase, you give me your priorities and vision, then you step away as I continue to work solo. We then go over how you can maintain the changes.

Whichever method you prefer, the process is flexible and fluid. Often we use a combination of both.

You should always fee free to reach out to me for fine tuning what we've put into place

or when you're ready to address another room in your home.

Kitchen Counter Setup

Kitchen & Pantry Organizing

Extra gadgets, dishes and glass ware, over-stuffed storage drawers and "junk" drawers, unused small appliances, expired and forgotten  fridge and pantry items....all block your flow in the kitchen. If this is your most troublesome room, the good news is that quick changes can be surprisingly easy in most kitchens and often times this project can be completed in one or two passes.

Feeling Freer

Brendan W.

"I am an organizational basket case. I had tried several times to clear the clutter, but to no avail. Then came Gail! End of Problem!"

Bruce F.

"My experience with Gail Harrington as an Organizer has been more than satisfying and surprisingly uplifting. Gail arrived prepared and calmly set about helping me sort through the boxes of possessions that had been spread across my new home. Gail has a nonjudgemental and "matter of fact" presence that inspires confidence. This was important for me because I was feeling particularly down on myself and overwhelmed by all that I needed to do. Once Gail got started, I wondered why I waited so long to ask for help with this kind of thing! Gail is deliberate and gets things done, but is also an understanding human being, which made the experience a bonus."

Marianne V.

"Gail brings a calm and patience to organizing any space, from recent clutter to going through childhood memories. From the moment she sees the space and takes inventory, she's able to hear when I've wanted to move quickly or when I've needed more time to let go of some of the items. Her respect for the client process is intertwined with her love for what she does and it shows at every appointment."
